Also teaching online course Funding Sustainable Enterprises

This summer I am also teaching Funding Sustainable Enterprises, an online course that helps entrepreneurs learn the complex landscape of funding sources.  Which ones are right for you today?  How about in the future?  How will funding sources impact your venture’s development?  What do you need to do to attract funding?

In this 3-credit course, students are introduced to the many different “flavors” of capital available to early stage ventures. Ventures require capital from different flavors depending on their age, growth trajectory, and mission. The strengths and weaknesses of each source of capital are described to help entrepreneurs identify the right kind of capital for their venture and how and when to approach potential funders. Students are next shown how to build the key relationships needed to help them secure the desired flavor of capital.
