Including a video with your application (especially an AngelSoft application) is a very good idea. It allows investors to passively view your opportunity’s details vs actively reading. Viewing is easier. If easier, we’re more likely to do it :).
But… include the right video. Cheesy commercials meant for your customers, even if exactly right for your customers, is almost never right for impressing investors. Investors want to see solid credibility, ambition, giant market opportunity, etc. They do not want to see people dressed up as insects and singing silly songs. And mind you, I’m a big fan of silly songs! Just not in my startup pitches.
